Are you looking for a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing, dynamic company that will train you to be a successful Investment Manager?

Our client is an established investment management company, based in Clevedon, offering over 40 years of bespoke investment advice to clients over the telephone and during face to face meetings.

They are currently in a stage of expansion looking to strengthen their investment division. Your role as a Junior Investment Manager will involve all aspects of dealing with the company's clients. You will become the first point of contact for non-advice based queries and as you progress you will be expected to build relationships with clients in preparation for becoming a fully qualified Investment Manager. You will be provided with mentoring and support through the industry relevant exams and professional registration.

Key responsibilities:

• Liaise with clients over the telephone and in face to face meetings.

• Act as the initial point of contact with clients for non-advice issues.

• Work closely with investment managers, keeping them up to date with relevant information relating to client issues.

• Gather client information and update systems with client data.

• Organise day to day client administration including valuations.

• Research and gain market skills and knowledge to prepare for the relevant professional exams

• Preparation of information as requested by the advisory team.

• Work within FCA compliance guidelines. • Take part in internal meetings to gain both knowledge and experience

Essential skills and experience:

• Previous telesales/telemarketing experience.

• Strong communication skills.

• A good telephone manner.

• A strong eye for detail.

• Maths & English GSCE grade "C" or above

• Degree education preferable though not essential

• Hard-working, self-starter attitude

• The drive and ambition to succeed.

Package:

• Salary rising to GBP21k once fully qualified and signed off as competent to advise.

• An OTE of GBP40K (uncapped) but top advisers earned over GBP70-80K in 2016. • Company pension available
