Your new company
My client a reputable business based in Cheltenham is currently recruiting for a Credit Controller on a permanent part-time basis, working 20 hours per week. You will be working within a busy and supportive team in order to ensure the accurate and timely collection of outstanding debt.

Your new role
Your new role will include maintaining your own ledger and taking responsibility for key customer accounts, with core responsibilities encompassing: credit checking accounts and releasing orders for customers on referrals; investigating and recording queries from internal and external stakeholders; maintaining paperwork; running debtor reports for month end; and chasing customers by telephone, email and letter to reduce debtor days, escalating aged debt to the Credit Manager where necessary.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working within a Credit Control role, ideally dealing with high volumes of accounts. It is essential that the successful candidate has excellent communication skills, the ability to self-motivate and work to strict deadlines and targets. You will ideally have previous experience working for an international business (using multi-currency). It is essential that you have excellent knowledge of Credit Control procedures and a commercial attitude.
