Peter Smith is recruiting for a Process Validation Technologist to join a Food and Drinks R&D company based in Gloucestershire, on a full time, permanent basis. This client provides scientific, technical, and legislative support to the food, drinks and allied industries worldwide.
The client is looking for an individual to deliver on scientific and technical projects in Thermal Processing. The ideal candidate will hold responsibility for the execution of a large range of technical projects, and the client is willing to offer a salary up to GBP24k in exchange for this expertise.
The role will be based in the Department of Food Manufacturing Technologies. The department works to provide solutions to a range of issues in the food industry. The department is rapidly expanding, and is continually implementing the most up to date technology to ensure that the company retains a competitive edge.
The main purpose of the role will be to
-Facilitate the execution of technical projects
-Interpret data from technical projects, and prepare reports for clients
-Respond to technical queries from clients
Further responsibilities will include:
-Providing support for training courses and presentations
-Maintaining equipment and records
-Ensuring compliance with all hygiene standards.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
-Graduate or equivalent in food sciences, food technology, or physical sciences
-Working knowledge of the food industry
-Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
-Understanding of thermal processing and foods
