The Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences is seeking to appoint an Academic Director to work closely with the Head of Department, the Department Executive, and Faculty Executive to maintain, sustain and where appropriate to enhance the student and staff experience.

The Academic Director has key responsibilities and accountabilities to support the Department's development, and must be prepared to use her/his initiative to find creative solutions to challenges facing the Department and seek future opportunities.

You will have:

• A PhD in Science

• A substantial record of achievement as an academic, covering teaching, research and professional practice in a relevant portfolio area, most likely to be evidenced by being a leading authority in your chosen field with national or international reputation.
