Are you struggling to find a permanent social care role in rural Gloucestershire? We have vacancies for compassionate, enthusiastic individuals to join our learning disabilities teams in Avening, Stroud & Stonehouse.

You would be working in a well-established residential service, supporting adults with learning disabilities to prepare for their next step into more independent living. You will then support them through their move and continue to support them on a 1-1 basis in their new home in either Stonehouse or Stroud. We also have services already set up now in Stroud/Stonehouse if you are unable to commute to Avening.

This role involves supporting unique individuals with a vast range of varying abilities, dreams and goals- it can be challenging at times, but offers massive rewards for the right person.

A range of contracts available, including full-time contract of 34 hours per week. Full-time includes working to early, late and sleep shift patterns. Part-time roles would be a mix of early and late shifts.

Responsibilities
- To work in a flexible way that supports the goals of our residents
- Willingness to complete training and qualifications to develop your skill-set
- Supporting with all needs of our residents, including personal care and domestic support

Requirements
- To be able to commute reliably to the service for the shift times specified
- Experience in any area of social care, or personal experience caring for somebody with a learning disability
- Able to demonstrate honesty, openness and reliability throughout the recruitment process
- A positive personality and attitude!
