Qualified Social Worker - Various Childrens Teams

Aurora Resourcing are looking for Qualified Social Workers that can take on various locum contracts within Somerset.

We are working with various borough councils to provide them with experienced children's social workers that have the post qualification experience needed to comfortably take on contract work and hit the ground running.

The roles vary as do the teams. We often have vacancies within LAC, Safeguarding and Assessment Teams. As well as varied teams the role can also vary;

Currently we are looking for Social Workers, Specialist Social workers that can guide others and take on complex cases and also Consultant social workers that can mentor and supervise ASYE students.

If you live in close proximity of areas such as Yeovil, Bridgwater, Taunton and Frome or can travel to Somerset freely from surrounding counties such as Wiltshire, Bristol, Dorset, Devon then please get in touch.

Pay and Benefits

The rate varies depending on your level, they tend to be between GBP31 - GBP35 an hour. You will receive mileage as well as a stable contract with an Authority that prides itself on manageable caseloads

New to locuming?

If you have never worked as a Social Worker we have a dedicated and experienced consultant who can guide and help get you set up. The south west is short of Locum Social Workers so contracts are very common meaning you can still have some security. There is no pressure to register so a confidential chat is always welcome.
