We are currently looking for a Home Ownership Income Recovery Co-Ordinator to support the Home Ownership Income Manager in maximising income recovery for Stonewater.
Main responsibilities:
- Providing customers with debt advice
- Arranging payment plans to ensure Stonewater's arrears are at a minimum
- Providing support to those who are most vulnerable where personal financial problems may result.
- Arranging payments for customers who are in arrears, setting up direct debit payments and card payments over the phone, and assisting residents with rent and service charge enquiries.
- Ensuring suppliers are in receipt of payment.
- Ensuring invoices are coded correctly.
- Producing monthly arrears reports
The ideal candidate should:
- Be knowledgeable and confident using Microsoft Excel.
- Be educated to GSCE standard or above
- Having experience of working in credit control
- Have some knowledge of housing law in relation to arrears management and experience working with challenging or vulnerable customers.
- Have excellent communication skills and confidence
- Have the ability to meet tight deadlines, whilst working under pressure
- Have a strong understanding and execution of customer service.
