We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our clients friendly team, you will act as the first point of contact for charity requests and customer complaints so a good varied role.
Working in a small Mail Order team but alongside all departments the primary objective of the Customer Services Assistant is to sit at the heart of the team working to respond to a wide range of enquiries from both the general public, clients, colleagues and other professionals by providing advice and information, whilst processing transactional services. You are required to assess the needs of callers, colleagues and clients in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner whilst both championing and managing the company's activities of e-commerce, company website and corporate gifts.
Main duties:-
- Answer and respond to incoming telephone enquiries and requests for information received by e-mail, voice mail, social media and post.
- Respond to enquiries across a wide range of business functions and act as the initial point of contact.
- Liaise with other departmental staff, partner organisations and external service providers.
- Oversee daily despatch of Mail Order; organising packing team to ensure this is fulfilled efficiently and in a satisfactory manner.
- Submit proposals and quotations.
- Process orders as required, submit invoices and collect pro-forma payments.
- Deal with all mail order complaints promptly.
- Process refunds if required, updating the system and recording the reason on the customer order.
- Communicate with the web developers and technical team to ensure they are proficient with our e-commerce and content management system and keep up with all developments.
- Help maintain the Mail Order database, ensuring that full customer information is included so that marketing activity can be carried out.
- Work with the management team to devise and execute a promotional calendar.
- Assist in the formulation of offers and marketing material.
Hours of work are 40 hours per week - 9am-6pm (1 hour for lunch), Monday to Friday.
Salary between GBP18 - GBP25k depending on experience.
Due to the remote location, candidates will need their own transport.
