Business Services Manager - Yeovil

Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a renown South West practice who due to internal growth and succession planning are looking for an ambitious client manager to work beneath the partners of the firm.

The role will involve managing your own portfolio of clients as well as working closely with the Partners and junior staff members, so strong communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships is essential

The main duties of this role include delivering accounting & taxation services to a diverse range of clients including Owner Managed Businesses, Partnerships and PLCs as well as reviewing the work of junior staff.

You will also be responsible for conducting interviews and being involved in the hiring process of new staff.

Main Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of clients
Preparation and review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
Involvement in the hiring process of new additions
Business development - helping to win new clients for the firm and tendering for jobs
Review of work done by junior staff
Excellent client interaction skills

Requirements:

ACA/ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified
AAT Qualified & QBE candidates will also be considered
Experience of working in practice is essential
