We supply day-to-day cover to full-time teaching positions and, due to our continued growth in the Somerset area I have a delightful school looking for a KS1 teacher to start in the new academic year. The school, an OFSTED 'GOOD' school striving for excellence, is ideally located just off the M5 and close to Taunton train station.
To be the right person for the job, you must be able to arrive at the school for 8:20am and have a flexible approach to your working day. You will be motivated and able to work as part of a successful team and strive for success within a vibrant classroom environment.
You must hold qualified teacher status (QTS), or a recognised qualification and have previous experience working within a primary school classroom, ideally teaching various topics across Key Stage 1. NQT's are more than welcome to apply.
You will coordinate with the class support staff, as well as other members of staff and parents and your role will involve lesson planning, marking etc.
You will ideally possess the following qualities:
* Strong classroom management skills are essential.
* Enthusiastic and a dedicated practitioner.
* Up to date knowledge of the new curriculum.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
* Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
