Senior Planner / CRM Strategist

An opportunity to do something remarkable.

Harte Hanks is searching for an experienced Senior Planner / CRM Strategist to join our UK team and play a key leadership role across several of the agency's top client relationships.

Forming part of the senior strategy team, you will work with a team of inquisitive strategic minds across the globe to help progress our world-class clients' marketing and advertising strategies through thought-leadership, innovation, and creativity.

The role will require a wealth of experience, from developing leading-edge B2B / Consumer strategies and digital programs that drive results, to providing ongoing strategic counsel to your clients to help them address their short and long-term goals. Data will be your friend, and you'll be expected to dive into it to assess who's buying what, when, where, how, and WHY. You'll have an almost obsessive desire to ensure your research generates accurate and effective results.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying how to overcome the client's challenges and deliver on their business objectives.
  • Utilising research and tools to fully understand the client's audience, what they want to hear and how they want to hear it.
  • Discovering the kernel that becomes the proposition of the marketing activity.
  • Composing the most effective multi-channel strategy to deliver on the objectives, determining the right mix of offline and online channels and tactics.
  • Writing inspiring creative briefs and briefing in-house teams.
  • Providing recommendations on improvements to client's current strategic infrastructure.
  • Participating/leading workshops and presentations internally, and with clients / partners.

Attributes:

  • A strong understanding of CRM marketing across both B2B and Consumer.
  • Foresight to lead our client and take ownership of the business as though it is your own.
  • Ability to develop relevant insights that help your clients identify areas of growth, opportunity and improvement.
  • Experience creating strategies that include traditional media, ecommerce, social, email, mobile, as well as emerging channels.
  • An ability to articulate your thinking as a simple, compelling thought.
  • Education BA/BS degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field.
