Job Profile for Quantity Surveyor -

I am currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to be based in the Somerset area. My client are one of the UK's leading specialists in water management. Operating in both the public and private sectors, they take on a wide variety of works including: restoring historic water features, creating lakes and maintaining watercourses & play parks. The role has come about due to a growing work load.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will possess experience within the Civils and/or Groundworks industry. It is important that the QS is fully competent and able to come in to the company and hit the ground running. There is no minimum experience requirement, the company are simply keen to find the right person.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join a growing company that embarks on exciting and niche projects and takes pride in their work. The role will involve flexible hours and offers a remuneration dependent on experience.

Quantity Surveyor Position Overview

  • Preparing valuations and final accounts
  • Manage all costs associated with the Project
  • Some travel across South of England and Wales
  • Preparing T&C's
  • Prepare Tender documents
  • Other duties

Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements

  • Degree, or equivalent, desirable
  • RICS (Chartered) status favourable - but not essential
  • Ambitious and competent
  • Personable character
  • No minimum experience

Quantity Surveyor Position Remuneration

  • Salary: DoE
  • Flexible hours - part time or full time
