Associate

We are looking for an Associate (4 years + PQE) to join our Employment team based in Bristol on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. From the outset you will be required to handle a varied caseload and to provide excellent customer service to clients of DAS Law.

The main tasks will include:

• Responsible for a range of claims from unlawful deduction from wages to discrimination
• Reviewing and evaluating employment tribunal claims
• Assessing the prospects of success and negotiating and litigating claims through the Employment Tribunal
• Handling a varied caseload for both employees and employers
• Carrying out audits and reassessments
• Undertaking some supervisory work and deputising for the Team Leader as and when necessary

About you:

We would like to hear from candidates with previous litigation experience (typically gained through minimum 4+ years of conducting employment law cases) who can demonstrate the following knowledge and experience:

• Excellent working knowledge of employment law and procedure with a minimum of 4 years` experience
• The ability to adhere to the SRA Handbook
• Excellent client care skills
