This Bath Secondary School is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their supportive staff team. Your new school is an 11-18 Secondary school with a passion for supporting pupils and developing their learning through the years. Your new role

Your new job as a Teaching Assistant requires you to assist with encouraging pupils to interact and engage in classroom lessons and activities studying their A-levels. You will be working alongside the classroom teacher assisting with planning of learning materials and activities. You will be supporting specifically with maths and science so a strong knowledge within these subject areas is essential.

What you'll need to succeed for this job

You will need NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification and a grade C or above in Maths and English at GCSE level. You will have recent relevant Teaching Assistant experience within a school. You will be passionate about working with young people and supporting them in their development and engagement within a school setting.
