Online is a major and exciting part of the business with room for even greater expansion. As our Digital Trading Manager, you'll be building on our past achievements and help lead our future success. What you'll be doing
Join us, and you'll be in the driving seat of our eCommerce trading activity across our online brands, products and marketplaces, reporting to our Director of eCommerce. We want you to generate online sales and make sure our websites perform commercially. It's all about driving conversion rates and creating a great customer experience. You'll also spot trends, identify successful promotions and ensure they're replicated. That means talking to a range of teams about what's selling and what customers want. Our business is a true team effort and you'll build relationships with internal stakeholders to gain maximum insight. Analytics and reporting will also play a big part in your decisions. You'll dig into the data and use reports to work out where new customers could come from and what to do to increase sales. Keep the customer front of mind and you'll soon be taking the business forwards.
What you'll bring
A driven and motivated person, you'll bring retail experience and a real passion for trading - you'll get a genuine buzz from boosting sales and performance to enhance business growth - using a range of tools and skills to do so. You'll also have a successful track record, perhaps as a Junior Buyer, Senior Buying Assistant or Product Manager of delivering online sales growth, increasing customer UX and improving on-site search and navigation. The important thing is that you understand trading - we can teach you about the web element if necessary!
Well-versed in turning data into meaningful insights and ultimately actions to drive our performance, you can spot opportunities a mile off and make the most of them. An inspiring and energetic team player, you'll enthuse and encourage others, working well across team boundaries, sharing your motivation to achieve results.
