Graduate Investments Assistant - Now Interviewing

We are looking for an intelligent and focused graduate to join an Investments company in Bath. If you are eager to develop a career in finance and investments this would be a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience from a talented team of people. Training will be provided.

Experience Required:

It's vital you have an eagerness to learn and are an enthusiastic person with strong numerical skills and a good eye for detail. You should have a genuine interest in the Investments industry and financial markets. Economics, Maths, Business and Finance graduates may particularly excel in this role.

Ideally applicants will have some finance or administration based work experience, this could be from an internship or temporary/vacation work.

The Role:

Duties will include the following:

• Liaison with Investment Managers, Stockbrokers, banks and internal divisions.
• Carrying out daily external cash reconciliations
• Cheque processing and banking.
• Periodic stock reconciliations.
• Working to continually improve business procedures and processes.
• Meeting Financial Conduct Authority regulations, particularly CASS 7 & 8.
• Reconciliation investigation and problem solving.
• Distribution processing.
• Producing Excel reports.
• Assisting with financial reports and project work from time to time.
• Suggesting, implementing and adapting to new procedures as part of the team's ongoing development.
