An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor with experience working within the Architectural Glazing/ Steelwork/construction industry to join a successful and busy construction business based in North West London. A very competitive salary and excellent working conditions are on offer for the successful candidate.
Specialising in the design, manufacture, supply or supply only, delivery, and installation of architectural metalwork, structural steelwork (primary & secondary), bespoke and standard metalwork, sheet metalwork in both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and a wide range of architectural glass and glazing systems, including certified and assured bomb blast resistant solutions for canopies, wall linings & balustrades.
Quantity Surveyor duties will include:
- Preparing quotes and tenders
- Contract reviews
- Taking measurements
- Cost management of projects through to final accounts.
- Liaising with suppliers / sub contractors and sourcing costs as required.
- Attending commercial meetings as required.
- Provide advice internally on contractual issues as required.
Quantity Surveyor requirements:
- Formal qualification in quantity surveying.
- At least 5 years experience working as a QS on steel framed building projects.
- Knowledge/experience of cladding etc would be advantageous but isn't essential.
- Be an organised individual with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
