Finance Manager

A cultured and tight knit manufacturing company is looking for a Finance Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Finance Director, key accountabilities of the role include:

• Preparing monthly and annual management accounts.
• Overseeing two members of the accounts team.
• Work with the management team to develop the group finance function.
• Monitor, review and develop accounting asset / inventory controls.
• Liaise with company auditors and other advisors.
• Liaise with finance team to understand and control profitability, costs and cost allocations.
• Ad-hoc reporting and project analysis, as required.

Excellent communication and numeracy skills are important with strong Microsoft excel ability. A cultured character with a cracking sense of humor with the ability to smile regularly a must have!
The successful candidate will be Qualified or QBE Accountant or actively studying the final/professional levels of ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with the company providing study support if required.
Experience in a manufacturing business desirable but not essential.
