Are you an experienced Technology specialist KS3/KS4 teacher living in Gloucester area seeking a new and exciting opportunity? Have you taught???
Food Tech?
Design Technology?
Textiles?
Information computer Technology (ICT)
Or, have a qualification in secondary education with a strong an active passion for one of the above?
Gloucester are always in need of a specialist in the subjects above for secondary schools and this opportunity welcomes an experience and developed QTS holder to join Monarch Education on their quest to providing high-quality teaching professionals to the range of schools we work with in this area.
The role will require you to;
- live in or around the Gloucester area
- be familiar with the KS3/KS4 curriculum
- be confident in your own ability to classroom manage whilst carrying out an interesting and informative lesson
- be presentable and approachable to both the 11-16-year-old students and the staff of the school as you will be representing Monarch Education.
-enthusiastic about your core subject specialism, trying to develop and engage all pupils whether that be in a short or long-term post at a school.
Monarch Education is one of the most established agency in the South West working with over half of South West schools on a first-call agreement and so whether you are looking for day to day work (whereby a teacher may be sick or have an emergency or), a longer period of cover (in which a school needs longer periods of cover in cases of holiday, maternity or bereavement), or looking to put your skills forward on a permanent basis.
On top of this, Monarch Education also recruit for long-term staff on behalf of the schools and are often more likely to take staff who we have already introduced to them on a supply basis, so an introduction to day to day cover until the end of the year could be just the foot-in-the-door you need!
The end of the academic year is quickly so even if you are looking to start work in September it would be great to hear from you so we can make a start on your application ready for the first week! We have already began getting permanent roles in with September/ October start dates so please act fast!
