Prospero Health and Social Care are looking for a Support Worker to work within a 24 hour Unit based in Brent Knoll.
As a team member, you would be expected to provide a high standard of support to the service users and clients. The right candidate should be able to encourage service users to develop their skills, participate in their interest and social opportunities within a safe and structured environment.
Applicants should have positive role model attributes, as well as;
*The ability to work well within a team, as well as using your own initiative
*Confidence and the capability to react calmly in stressful difficult situations
*You must be competent, proactive and self-motivated; with the willingness to make a difference
*With the ability to be flexible, approachable an in;
*Supporting vulnerable people.
*Understanding how to deal with challenging behaviour
*Understanding substance use/abuse
*Ability to be flexible, approachable and accessible
Requirements
Minimum 6 Months experience working with a Health and Social Care setting.
We are offering market leading rates along with ongoing training/development.
