SUPPLY CHAIN CONTROLLER

Great opportunity to join a well established Garment Manufacturer in the UK. Our clients are now seeking a Supply Chain Controller who is CIPS qualified with approx. 3 years + experience in similar role.

You must be self motivated and performance driven , Strong level of IT skills especially on Excel and numerical ability , excellent communicator , team player. off shore travel is also part of this role from time to time but not on a regular basis.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.

You will proactively manage stock levels and suppliers, ensuring product is delivered at the right time, in the right quantity with full adherence to business and customer stock holding requirements whilst achieving minimum SLA's.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

To procure products from approved sources and ensure delivery at the right time and quantity.

Full adherence to budgetary constraints, cash flows and maintaining business and customer stock holding requirements whilst achieving minimum SLAs.

Purchasing against agreed garment and raw material forecasts.

Planning future production capacity and ongoing management of current production capacity with relevant suppliers.

Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

To assess suppliers against a vendor appraisal framework and drive performance improvements.

Support cost saving initiatives throughout the supply chain.

To work in line with agreed CP dates on allocated tasks.

KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES

Stock fulfilment levels.

Part shipping costs.

Unplanned air freight costs.

Stock holding levels.

Average time to fulfil orders.

System accuracy.

Ensure timely availability of raw materials for order fulfilment.

Freight costs within agreed budgetary guidelines.
