Are you an organised individual looking to develop your support and administrative experience at the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research?

We're looking for a Retail Support Administrator to join our experienced operational support which forms the National Retail Centre (Horsham), which covers all general administrative duties for the shops, Field Management, Trading and other Head Office Departments.

We need a self-motivated individual to...

• Ensure that a standard of excellence is maintained at all times with regard to customer service and supporter care

• Cover any general administrative duties as and when required

• Mail room operations, incoming and outgoing mail

• Order stationary supplies from the mail room

• Prepare incoming post and actioning as appropriate

• Answer the phone and deal with queries from both supporters, Cancer Research UK staff and volunteers as and when required.

Here at Cancer Research UK, our Trading department contributes GBP25 million per year funding ground-breaking work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer- enabling us to engage with communities and share information about our visions to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. With over 570 shops across the UK, our retail teams are among the most visible faces of the Charity and help to raise awareness of our cause, promote cancer prevention and early diagnosis messages as well as generating income.

• Experience of dealing with telephone queries from a diverse group of internal and external customers

• Full MS Office skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Experience of editing and formatting information documents.
