As an Automotive Manufacturer - situated in Dunton, Essex - we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to work within our Product Development division.
The electrical Project engineer will be working within the Electrical/Electronic Systems Engineering department with the aim of leading the project execution plan development in order to:
- Improve product quality
- Improve quality (intentionally repeated)
- Develop exciting products
- Achieve competitive cost and revenue
- Build relationships
The Project engineer will act as the Program module team lead engineer.
Within the Electrical Department it would be beneficial to possess skills in line with the company/brand systems:
- Global Product Definition System trained (GPDS). The GPDS provides a common set of milestones and metrics for the development of all vehicle programs across our regional business groups, which increases efficiency and quality.
- Global Integrator
- AVBOM access
- eFDVS
- WERS - Worldwide Engineering Release system
- Engineering Design & Testing Governance board trained
- Teamcenter Engineering
- Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote
- Presentation skills and project management
Education & Expertise Required
- A Degree within an Engineering discipline - Ideally Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years in an engineering environment with previous electrical engineering experience
