Our client, a notable food company based in Gloucestershire are seeking a Regulatory Affairs advisor, specialising in the food industry.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Provide regulatory advice and support to the Food and Drink departments
• To maintain awareness of both UK and EU food legislations, and relay pertinent information accordingly
• To answer questions from members, other clients and colleagues on the content, application and interpretation of the above.
• To direct scheduled legislation courses.
• Development and contribution to Reg Affairs publications and events.
• Initiate new business and deliver contract services on time and within budget.
• To develop and delivery research project.
• To recommend services, products and systems changes and implementation.
• To provide professional advice and enhance performance.
• To assist the Senior Food Law Advisor.
Qualifications and competencies
• Graduate level qualification(s) in science, law or related subjects or the equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years extensive knowledge gained in the food industry gained within a commercial, policy or enforcement setting.
• Well-developed communication skills
• Skilled report writing and presentation skills
• Good communicator with proven client skills
Salary is negotiable dependent upon experience, up to GBP30k per annum. The company also provide a generous pension and holiday entitlement, healthcare policy and subsidized canteen.
