Finance Manager - Bourton-On-The-Water - GBP25,000 - GBP35,000 per annum - Hays Accountancy & Finance

Hays Accountancy & Finance are being retained to recruit for a leading fund management/investment organisation for an motivated and hands-on Finance Manager. A new finance position for the organisation due to substantial market growth. This varied and challenging permanent finance role is located in the Cotswold, near Bourton-On-The-Water, a great opportunity to really add value and develop further within your finance career.

Your key duties will involve management accounts preparation including profit and loss, balance sheets and cost centre analysis. Along with this you will monitor actuals against budgets, variance analysis, prepare monthly meeting packs, EC sales list and quarterly VAT. You will be expected to prepare audit packs, bank reconciliations, post journals and attend regular management meetings with clients and other team members. Within this varied Finance Manager position you will support the junior members of the finance team and assist in projects/ad-hoc duties for the Senior Finance Managers.

For this hands-on and commercial Finance Manager role you must have experience within a similar accounting position, with strong communication skills to build key relationships externally and internally within the wider business. You must have a strong level of MS Excel skills and be able to work towards time-constraint deadlines whilst managing workloads. Ideally you will be AAT qualified and working towards your CIMA/ACCA/ACA however candidates who are qualified by experience will still be considered for the role. Experience within the fund management/investment sector would be advantageous but not essential.
