We have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our friendly team at our Accolade Park site in Bristol which employs over 500 people. Our Bristol site houses the largest bottling plant in the Northern Hemisphere bottling up to 1 million bottles of wine per day. We are investing GBP3 million into our Bristol site and have some exciting and innovative projects underway.

About the role

You'll work alongside highly skilled colleagues in manufacturing on innovative assignments.

Reporting to our Head of Engineering, you will be required to deliver large scale engineering projects through all elements of project management through to execution.

One of our larger projects includes installing our own on-site wind turbine in addition to other high profile projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • The full delivery of 4 key projects focused on renewable energy
  • Working with external agencies, planning boards, government agencies and contractors to ensure all legal obligations are met
  • Proactively manage contractors to ensure our projects are delivered on time
  • Researching and analysis of data / specifications of equipment and processes to provide solutions, advice and costings
  • Ensuring communication is maintained as a priority with all internal stakeholders

About you

You will be a qualified Engineer with substantial engineering project experience on a large scale, ideally in renewable energy. You'll be delivery focused and able to work independently and have knowledge of power supply and power distribution (DNO level experience). A key requirement is engineering infrastructure design and scientific / mathematical research experience.
