Shorterm Group are working with an aerospace client in the Gloucestershire are a who require a Recruitment Advisor on a contract basis.
Main Purpose:
To provide comprehensive and effective support and advice related to recruitment activity from vacancy approval to induction and on-boarding in accordance with resourcing procedure.
Responsibilities:
- Establish the job and person specification with the recruiting manager for all vacant positions once having confirmed that a replacement will be necessary.
- Complete all process and activity related to obtaining validation to recruit for all approved positions.
- Screening of all candidates from the company's online portal and agencies used.
- Liaise with the recruitment manager to define the selection process, shortlist candidates and set up interviews.
- Participate in all interviews as the HR representative to ensure selection is based on technical capability for the role and in accordance with company values.
- Completing all formalities and admin once an offer is made for a successful candidate.
- Liaise with recruiting managers to establish the indication and on-boarding programme, co-ordinating the activities.
Requirements:
- Significant experience as a recruitment assistant/advisor in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Excellent communication, interaction and organisational skills.
- The ability to be effective with minimum supervision.
- Confident in the use of different Microsoft applications.
