Reed Education is currently recruiting for Teachers of Computer Science for various positions starting in September 2017, in the Exeter area. We are working on a number of vacancies both contract and long term supply for Computer Science Teachers.
You should be a Qualified Teacher and be competent with delivering creative and engaging lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 Computer Science. NQT's will be considered for the position, as will more experienced practitioners. You should have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills, as well as strong communication and organisational skills. You will benefit from working with an experienced and supportive team, they are welcoming and friendly and will ensure you have all the tools you need to succeed in the role.
The pay is good, and better than you might expect. We pay up to GBP120 a day for supply cover and more for long term bookings. If you secure a contract or permanent role you will be employed by the school and paid at your point on the pay scale. You will need a fully enhanced DBS Certificate but we can organise that for you. We take care of all the other checks too, leaving you to do the bit you are good at, delivering outstanding lessons to young people in the classroom.
