We are looking for 2 Maintenance Technicians ( E & I biased) to join one of our clients based in Cheshire, one position is on day shift only ,the other is on shifts (5 shift system.)
What does the job involve?
As the Maintenance Technician you will be capable of working from a plan covering planned, preventative, predictive and reliability centred maintenance across all maintenance disciplines (EC&I and Mechanical.)
What skills and experience do you need?
You will be Electrical time served or Instrument time served with 17th Edition (new if possible), with the capability of working with a minimum amount of supervision. The role will require you to have previous experience of:
- Motor Control Systems - 'Direct on Line' and V.S.D. Control Systems.
- Small Power and Lighting Systems.
- Electrical Power Distribution Systems
- Test Equipment - Portable Testers
- Failure mode prediction and protection Power failure, Air Failure, Equipment failure, Software failure
- Relay / Timer and PLC Control Logic for Plant Process Control and Safety Interlock Systems.
- Hazardous Area Classification- Understanding Area Classification Drawings
- Temperature classification
- Explosion Protected Equipment
