Client Accounting Team Leader

This award winning company based in Worthing, West Sussex works with letting agents across the UK providing client money accounting services.

They require a Client Accounting Team Leader to supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day activities. The work involves processing tenant rents, paying landlords, balancing client money accounts with software and dealing directly with their agent clients on all things client money accounting.

If you are experienced with numbers, have people management skills and would like to work in a busy, friendly and fast growing company they would very much like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee a team of experienced staff
- Supervise daily operations of the client accounting department
- Work with the Client Accounting manager to meet client accounting objectives
- Carry out quality checking to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Review and further develop accounting methods, policies and principles
- Work as part of the management team on business expansion projects

Essential skills:
- Ability to direct and supervise
- Good team player
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and accounting software in general
- Proven knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls and practices
- Diligence, with a strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident, flexible and adaptable
