Are you an experienced organised and professional receptionist with a genuine can do attitude and a passion for customer service?

Our client requires a Receptionist and Room Booking Facilitator to work within their newly established Faraday House Charity and Business Hub in Hampden Park, Eastbourne. This varied role will cover full reception duties, administration and room booking support.

In this brand new position you will be the gateway to their Charity, acting as the first point of contact for their Charity by answering the mainline phone and directing calls to the appropriate person. You will be welcoming Visitors to them and to their other tenants within the Hub.

You will be expected to support the smooth running of events and meetings taking place within Faraday House. This will include booking the room, requesting invoice generation, taking payment, setting up the meeting room and clearing it away afterwards ready for the next client.

Excellent organisational skills and record keeping are essential, together with good database skills, using Charity Log or another CRM Database. You will have experience of producing co-ordinated mailings, arranging venues for meetings and maintaining filing systems.

The ability to work on your own initiative, to have good interpersonal and communication skills is essential, together with the ability to manage your own workload and remain calm under pressure. You will enjoy working as part of a team; have a sense of humour and a positive attitude.

A background of working within hospitality or conferencing is desirable together with some knowledge of working for a charity and some understanding of some of the issues affecting older people.

Salary: Up to £16,744.00 plus benefits
Hours: 35 hours per week
