PERMANENT* Property Manager - Bath, Somerset
I am currently recruiting for a Property Manager based in Bath, Somerset on a permanent basis working a 37 hour week.
What your role will be
Working as part of the receivership team you will manage a small portfolio of properties through attracting maximum rental opportunities, reporting maintenance concerns through to serving notice to tenants when required.
You will provide first line support to our internal team and external parties including mortgage lenders, property owners, tenants and third parties ensuring all issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
The best interests of the properties owners are at the heart of what we do, therefore you will manage properties in line with client, company and statutory regulations. Compiling strategy reports and feeding these back to the owner will also become a feature of your role.
Your background
This is a very busy working environment. The ability to work successfully under pressure is essential for this post. You will need to prioritise your own work load and be flexible to change plans when urgent requirements come in.
You will spend a lot of time on the phone speaking to tenants and landlords. Therefore you will be a confident communicator and have the ability to stay calm and professional in what can be challenging and emotive situations.
A general understanding of Property Act Receivership law would be highly advantageous as would a background in property management.
What our client can offer you
Our client has a commitment to develop internal talent with your new line manager a key example of this, having joined us on a six month fixed term contract she has had two promotions and been with us for 5 years.
About our client
Our client is a bright, entrepreneurial business supported by an assured core team with a track record of over 20 years of success. Independent thinkers supported by one of the country's biggest property owners. Our client's reputation for world-class basics - e.g. rent collection, maintenance, complaint resolution is complemented by a proactive and informed overall approach; they call this intelligent property management.
