We have an exciting opportunity for two Commercial Process Executives to join the newly formed and growing Commercial Enablement function here at Experian. Working within UK&I Commercial Enablement with multiple areas of the UK&I business, this role is focused on putting governance and client centricity at its core through improved process efficiency to drive both better client outcomes and improved business performance.
Who are the Commercial Enablement team?
The Commercial Enablement team is a new function, which is critical to the future success of Experian as a business. The team will be built over time by bringing together existing teams within Experian, as well as new talent to help us unlock significant untapped potential. The team are responsible for competitor analysis, market research, strategy, product marketing, strategic pricing, bid management and commercial support, including commercial management and the introduction of a new area: Commercial Process support.
This is a really exciting time to join us as we embark on a customer focused journey which is at the heart of our business priorities for the next financial year, and these new opportunities will really give the role holders the opportunity to shape the role and make it their own.
Commercial Process support will ensure that Experian makes timely and approrpiate business decisions throught its end to end business processes. Ultimately the commercial process team will be responsible for:
High risk, high value transactions - Ensuring the completeness of documentary deliverables required to make key business decisions, holding senior stakeholders to account regarding the completion of agreed actions and verify the quality and completeness of decisions taken by senior leaders at key governance gates.Low value, high volume business transactions - auditing the quality of business decisions for a representative sample of transactions.Identifying efficiencies and driving the implementation of business processes improvements to optimise governance effectiveness and client experience.Ensuring the business governance blueprint is documented and kept up to date.In respect of the operation of the business governance blueprint, supporting the creation of business information, making remediation / improvement recommendations and implementing the same.Formation of strong relationships with key stakeholdersIn addition, the role holder will support the wider Contract Operations Team to achieve Experian's goal of better governance of risk and improved decision making, reviewing existing processes and recommending new processes.The creation of the Commercial Enablement function is critical to our future success and an important next step in our evolution as a truly customer-focused organisation.
What does a Commercial Process Executive do?
You'll be responsible for the following:
Demonstrating auditable proof that Experian is meeting its regulatory obligations to clients by completing a defined cycle of process management reviews.Ensure all process documentation is to the agreed process standards of governance and results in updates to the Business Process Architecture.Support the definition and implementation of effective KPIs that ensure process performance can be measured to inform process owners and drive improvement activity. Ensure the data capture necessary for the KPIs is accurately collated.Support the embedding of a process centric organisation (across Sales, PCUs, Solutions, Service and Enabling Functions), where process owners perform their own process review and assessment across their processes, highlighting control weaknesses.Process Improvement capability within the PCUs to enable operational delivery of process improvements.Support the embedding of three lines of defence, creating greater interaction and engagement between the first and second line.Drive a cultural change to risk ownership, governance and management making it fully integrated and intuitive across the business.Ensure business operational controls become an integral part of delivering the Experian strategy. Adopt business excellence principles in a structured, systematic, governed way to enable the business to drive performance.
What are we looking for?
Outstanding communication and influencing skills in a business transformation or project management contextExperience in rapidly understanding and changing complex B2B environmentsExperience of operating and influencing within a large organisationUnderstanding of commercial processes such as sales, marketing, product management/new product laucnhes, delivery or serviceEffective communication and stakeholder engagementAbility to assimilate large quantities of business, market and technical information with a view to producing a clear business case for process change and adoptionStrong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task You must be a self-starter who has a strong ability to work collaboratively with and through others.Strong ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is also neededStrong MS Office Skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
