Electrical Project Engineer - North Somerset - Salary Doe

An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Project Engineer to work for a well-established Manufacturing organisation based in North Somerset.

The role will be assisting with the engineering, procurement and management of projects from the order through to completion of project; this will include design work and engineering support.

Key Skills

Design and Project Management experience.
Organised / structured approach with the ability to co-ordinate, balance and achieve all aspects of design/build activity.
Degree educated with an Electronics/Electrical degree
17th edition wiring regulations.
Any working knowledge of CAD (in particular Solid Edge) or a working knowledge and understanding of valves, actuators and associated plant and equipment is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Work with the Project Manager to review contracts for technical compliance within the confines of the quotation to enable order acceptance.
Work under own supervision project-managing all aspects of projects from initial site meetings/survey through to final completion and invoicing.
Ensure all assigned contracts are delivered within the time-scales and costs depicted by the contract programme.
Produce risk assessments and review/amend method statements in line with site requirements.
Oversee, and where necessary, assist with site installation and commissioning of assigned contracts and manage our electrical Sub-Contractors. Visits to sites may occasionally require overnight stays.
Produce detailed drawings (manufacturing and installation) BOM's and project relevant documentation (RAMS, weekly reports, O&M's, test certs and quotations).
Produce all relevant Electrical and Mechanical interfaces including BCD P&IDs and Schematic wiring diagrams in line with specific designs.

This role is commutable from areas such as Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham, Trowbridge and Glastonbury.
