B1 Engineer EASA Part 66 B1.3 Licence Rotary Aircraft

Working for this leading aviation business you will be part of a dedicated team, maintaining the company's fleet of rotary aircraft based at RAF Valley.

The B1 Certifying Engineer is responsible for the certification of line, non-routine maintenance and repair on Airbus H145 and H135 rotorcraft.

Type training will be provided for a suitable candidate.

Candidates must hold a current EASA Part 66 B1.3 Licence (Turbine Rotorcraft) to apply.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - B1

Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.

Accomplishment of Maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by Valley Engineering Manager.

Work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.

Completion of maintenance, including airframe structure, power plant and mechanical and electrical systems.

Replacement of avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability.

Supervision of maintenance fitters and the certification of their work.

Also required to assist in day to day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL - B1

Must have thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems.

Knowledge of specialised test equipment relating to engine and airframe systems.

EASA Part 66 B1.3 Licence (Turbine Rotorcraft)

DESIRABLE - B1

Type Rating and experience H135, H145.
