Service Development Manager, Bath
Supporting the most marginalised people in society isn't easy.
The work is often pressurised and always challenging. It takes a huge amount of empathy, positivity, and passion to make even the smallest of steps forward.
But you are a natural leader, driven and keen to work with people who are socially excluded, and able to motivate a team, resulting in positive outcomes for the people we support.
Julian House is a Bath-based charity with ambitions to support more people than ever before, at a time when there is increasing demand for our services. Bath is where we have made our name and Manvers Street Hostel sits proudly at the heart of our organisation, alongside our innovative Domestic Abuse, Gypsy & Traveller and Private Rented Sector services.
You'll need some experience of supporting people with multiple and complex needs and implementing creative solutions. But we're looking for more than that.
You will inspire our Bath-based staff and volunteering teams, even when the odds aren't always greatly in their favour. You'll lead them in pursuit of delivering services which ensure that the people who need our help most, are making progress, no matter how small.
You'll spot opportunities for business development, design viable proposals and assist in the development of successful bids into live, working services that we can all be proud of.
Above all, you will share our passion for making a difference to the lives of the most marginalised.
We'll offer you all the support we can to help you be successful. Our experienced Senior Team work well together and our collaborative approach has seen us all grow and develop as the organisation has been shaped and moulded. You'll also receive a competitive salary and annual leave entitlement, plus the opportunity to work in the beautiful Georgian City of Bath each day.
Spotted something you like that you don't get in your current role?
If so, we'd love to hear from you.
