Fluent German - travel consultant

Based in central Harrow in lovely offices, our client is leading incoming tour operator. Who have an amazing interesting role within an exciting industry. This role is Monday to Friday normal hours great opportunity for advancement

Responsibilities:
• Inserting bookings and dealing with amendments and cancellations
• Booking additional services such as entrances and transfers
• Finding suitable accommodation
• Preparing vouchers and hotel/B&B descriptions
• Creating and calculating competitive offers; business development
• Assisting the FIT Contracts Manager
• Communicating with clients and suppliers on a daily basis
Required skills and experience
• A passion for our destinations Great Britain and Ireland
• A positive attitude
• A good problem solver
• An effective team player
• An accurate working style, with attention to detail
• Strong spoken and written communication skills
• Language skills: fluency in both written and spoken German and English
• Previous experience in tourism is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• various training programmes (e.g. familiarisation trips to gain deeper knowledge of our destination)
