Are you an organised individual with experience of and an interest in managing a charity’s grant making to deliver maximum benefit to beneficiaries?

We have created a new post to implement and improve our charitable expenditure processes and are looking for the right person to help shape the role and ensure we deliver on our promise to donors to do more for sick kids and improve the health of women and babies supported by our two charities.

An active grant maker, Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity delivers projects that push boundaries and improve excellence in research, treatment and patient experience.  And with assets of £10million and an income that has grown significantly in recent years, we have bold plans for the future.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • An aptitude for understanding and working with financial information
  • Experience of using databases and excellent IT skills
  • Proven ability to plan, organise and prioritise your own work
