`Transport Supervisor
This is one of those typical logistics roles MAD and FUN you just never know whats going to happen !! so if you enjoy the down to earth growing logistics companies this one is for you !
I am looking for a transport supervisor for a really busy transport operation with over 30 vehicles which has seen great growth as their are more depots planned for next year! This is a fast paced role where you may be asked to deliver across multiple sites.
You will need to be FLEXIBLE if you personally have to deliver a load then you have to be the person who just gets on with it!
Organise your team and fleet of vehicles to ensure performance levels are achieved and that the transport operation achieves targets within budget
*Ensure the transport operation runs safely and is compliant with all relevant regulations.
*Ensure the operation consistently meets the requirements of the business via management of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
*Ensure the operations comply with all relevant transport legislation and runs safely.
*Conduct effective driver debriefs. The Person To apply for the position of Transport Supervisor you must have proven supervisory of management experience in a Transport or Distribution role in a fast paced environment.
*Demonstrable knowledge of relevant transport legislation, including tachographs and Working Time Directive
*Excellent people management and leadership skills
*National or International CPC - Desirable
