The purpose of the position is to continually update the software system with information about employees from the moment a new employee commences employment up to the day they leave the company and any change in between.
After completion of the training program, the Corporate HR Services Specialist will:
Accurately process HR transactional work and complex workflow events and input associate data in the Human Resource Information System to ensure deadlines and metrics are met. Examples include but are not limited to: New hires, Terminations, Leaves of absence, Job changes, Retirements etc
Follow established processes, take appropriate action, communicate with the regional Human Resources and Payroll teams, follow up for timely resolution.
Understand the complexity of company and region specific HR policies and procedures
Become a proficient user of systems and software applications.
Stay current on new and changing procedures, practices, and technology.
Provide a seamless experience for our HR partners and associates, documenting the process in the case management system.
Learn the complexity of the diverse environment (i.e., workforce, locations organisation) and embrace the changing strategies, philosophies, and initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience in office administration or data management, ideally in an environment where accuracy of data is paramount
Previous customer service experience is highly desirable.
Attention to detail with a strong aptitude for technology
Strong computer proficiency with ability to quickly learn and master new software programs
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience of working with MS Office tools, Windows and Data Management Systems
Process orientation skills
Passion for customer service delivery
Ability to work effectively, independently, and in a team environment.
Ability to utilise critical thinking skills when faced with challenges.
