Our Client is a major FMCG company in the UK, with market leading brands across four divisions. Their Medical Division is Europe’s largest specialist nutrition company and market leader in the UK. They specialise in the delivery of medical nutrition for the very young, the old and the sick, supplying high quality feeds to patients and consumers. Their purpose is to pioneer nutritional discoveries that help people live longer, healthier lives.
They now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner / Storesperson to join their team based in Liverpool. This is a full time, permanent position.
Within the role you will maintain, improve and sustain the overall equipment efficiency of the area under your responsibility in compliance with health and safety, GMP and best-practise guidelines. Providing a service and support to the maintenance manager, engineering cell leaders and shift engineers, you will make sure they can carry out their roles in a safe and professional manner, whilst ensuring that production downtime is kept to a minimum.
They are looking for someone who is time served and qualified in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, who has significant experience in a similar Maintenance and Engineering role. With experience of using SAP or equivalent for maintenance planning, stock control and budget management, you will have an understanding of Engineering work planning, scheduling and control principles.
