Care Centre Deputy Manager

Job Title: Deputy Care Centre Manager, 38.5 hours per week (Negotiable)

At the heart of the Peak District in Buxton, our clients Care Home shares its name with the gardens that the four storey house overlooks. Refurbished and re-decorated to provide a cosy and comfortable home for residents, they also have the latest equipment and facilities to ensure the health and safety of residents with limited mobility. The 24 bedded home has a combination of single and double rooms many with en-suite bathroom facilities.

Job Role:

The candidate will have Care Home Deputy Manager experience and the ability to lead and manage a team of staff in the absence of the Care Home Manager, whilst supporting the Manager in the day-to- day running of the Care Home and to proactively deputize were required.

Provide support and leadership to the care home staff. Ensure the delivery of quality care - continually assessing their resident's needs and wishes and developing the service to enhance their quality of life.

Positively influence the reputation of the home - communicating professionally and warmly with visitors including family, friends and other external stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

Level 3 Health and Social or working towards.

Deputy Manager or extensive experience as a senior.
