KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE

(4 key areas maximum)
?? To promote and sell services and products to all potential end user's within a nominated geographical/account area.- Gloucestershire
?? To present a full proposal of Solutions tailored to individual customer needs in a professional, constructive and creative manner.
?? To carry out full product demonstrations where necessary in order to provide comprehensive overview

Essential Requirements: Main tasks

RESPONSIBILITIES

?? To comply with and achieve the Minimum Standards set by your Line Manager.
?? Achieve targets including activity targets (demos, appointments, presentations, telephone canvassing, activity closure) and meet acceptable gross profit achievements.
?? Conduct sales activities in compliance with legislation (e.g. Anti-competition law) and follow sound and fair business practices.

NEW BUSINESS:
?? Conduct new business telephone canvassing sessions every week in order to generate business growth.
?? Carry out marketing in designated geographical area via cold calling (telephone/door to door canvassing, business premises only) or mail shots to generate new leads within existing customer base and new business opportunities.
?? Arrange and carry out closing appointments with customers to gain the acceptance of proposals and achieve a signed order, or to gain approval of proposals and a mutually agreed method of progression to achieve a signed order.

REPORTING:
?? Provide all customers with full account information, M.I. Reports, etc. where required and discuss all additional opportunities.
?? Update Diary Information, Telephone Canvass Records, databases, Expense Claims, Receipts, Mileage Records, Vehicle Inspection Reports, etc regularly.
?? Ensure all Company and customer information is kept confidential in accordance with Company Guidelines.
