We have a great opportunity for an experienced and passionate Team Leader, at a fantastic residential home in Kingswood.
You will be part of a close knit team who are committed and dedicated to providing the best support for elderly people and people with dementia. As well as being well supported by your lovely, down-to-earth Manager, you will receive a plenty of training and development in your first year at this home which will help you thrive in your new role.
This is a lovely home to work in, and as well as the human residents you will also have the privilege of getting to know a couple of non-human residents, including a bunny and a canary!
Your role will involve working mostly nights but with some days, so will need to be flexible. Duties will include:
- Leading each shift to ensure the team works effectively together
- Leading handovers
- Keeping manager updated, keeping notes and records
- Cleaning of main areas
- Medication
- Checking on residents every 3 hours during the night and responding to buzzers
Pay rate for this role is GBP7.80 per hour.
To apply for this role you should have previous experience as a Senior/ Team Leader working with people with dementia, and have an NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care. A good sense of humour and positive nature is a must!
