Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently searching for a Health and Safety Advisor on behalf of our client based in Bristol. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a well established and growing multi disciplined engineering consultancy.
Main objective:
The H&S Advisor will be responsible for the timely delivery, accuracy, recording and filing of health and safety information. They will also have responsibility for the production, reviewing and editing of health and safety documentation, ensuring quality and accuracy and providing health and safety advice to company employees on an individual and project basis, promoting company health and safety initiatives and best practise.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide health and safety advice to members of the company.
* Produce, review, edit, and approve health and safety documentation.
* Analysis, review and update health and safety databases.
* Inspection and audit of remediation, site investigation and office site environments.
* Delivery of health and safety training.
Skills and Qualifications:
* NEBOSH National or Construction Certificate (equal level qualification considered).
* Minimum two years' experience working in health and safety, within the remediation or construction sector.
* Strong IT skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated team player with good people skills
