This Gloucestershire Academy is looking for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to start in September. The role is suitable for experienced Maths Teachers and also NQT's looking for their first role.
This is a highly successful 11-18 School with over 1200 students enjoying spectacular views over the local hills. In September 2009 the School moved into a new building with outstanding modern facilities for teaching and learning. They are a specialist college for science which allows us a particular focus on science and mathematics in teaching. It has a 'Good' rating in its most recent Ofsted report and has a fantastic reputation amongst pupils and staff alike.
If successful, you would be joining a strong, well run Department where you will be responsible for teaching pupils across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The department has created an inclusive working environment built to support its staff and therefore help its pupils to learn and enjoy maths.
This post would suit either an experienced Maths Teacher or a NQT looking to develop their experience in a fantastic school. In this role you would show a real enthusiasm to enable you to share with pupils what makes Maths exciting and be prepared to take on extracurricular activities.
