The Company:
We are recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator who has experience of working within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment and is used to dealing with technical enquiries.
Job Responsibilities:
* Handle all incoming breakdown, service and repair requests for all products
* Control and monitor the assignment of service engineers to call, internal staff or external suppliers
* Ensure all service related paperwork is completed and recorded within a defined procedure
* Process purchase orders and invoices
* Ensure Quality issues are passed to the correct departments and followed up
* Document control of technical drawings
* Take customer orders and quotations received by phone,
* Answer telephone calls received on the sales line and either deal with the call, ensure it is put through to the correct person or take a message for a colleague
* Keep accurate and relevant records of customer correspondence
* Resolve customer issues or complaints in a timely manner
Preferred Skills:
* Phone and computer based customer service experience
* A good standard of literacy and numeracy
* A good standard of computer literacy
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
* Good communication skills both written and oral
* A good telephone manner
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Ability to work well as part of a team and on own initiative
* Ability to provide excellent customer service in a light engineering market
* Ability to understand and embrace new technology
* Ability to take on and understand new products
