£20,000 - £30,000 DOE Plus Pension, DIS, Free Parking, Free Hot Beverages & Kitchen Facilities, Employee Assistance Programme, Corporate Gym Membership, 20 Days’ Holiday (increasing to 25 with service)

Our client is a leading manufacturer of connectivity and networking solutions. They are now looking for a Trade Compliance Specialist to join their team.

If you have an in-depth understanding of UK import and/or export procedures and/or customs, this is a brilliant opportunity to take on an exciting, new challenge with a progressive business.

Within a supportive and engaging environment, you will have the chance to play an integral role in our client’s operations.

As a Trade Compliance Specialist, you’ll be responsible for developing, refining and implementing processes to ensure that our client complies with import and export trade procedures.

Additionally, you’ll be involved in implementing the compliance with the UK Modern Slavery Legislation, the US Conflict Minerals law, the Australian Asbestos regulations and packaging guidelines.

You’ll review and advice colleagues on preferential trade activities, maintain the register and collate records of these activities.

Additionally, you’ll make sure that all declarations to the HMRC and customs are accurate and all documentation is maintained and auditable.

Interested? To be considered, you must have previous experience of UK import and/or export procedures. A great eye for detail is key.

Organised and pragmatic, as a Trade Compliance Specialist, you must have a collaborative approach to problem-solving and superb prioritisation abilities.

Ideally, you’ll have knowledge of MS Dynamics GP, but this is by no means essential. Experience gained within a manufacturing organisation would also be beneficial as would AEO experience (application and/or development).
