Experienced CNC Programmer required to join our team based in Sherburn in Elmet.
The role
To program and operate CNC turning lathes, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
Regular overtime available.
Responsibilities will be to:
- Program CNC Turning Machinery with 2 axis fixed using Fanuc controls
- Work to Technical drawings with the minimum of supervision to produce desired components
- Work to tight tolerances and self-inspected completed jobs
- Prove out programs at the machine ensuring the highest quality at all times
- Maintain good house keeping
- Observe general health and safety and manage or report any risks to management
Requirements
- Fully competent CNC Programmer of 2 axis machines using Fanuc controls
- Quality and efficiency of components produced
