We have a fantastic role as a Communications Manager.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Communications Manager, to achieve and maintain a 75% engagement by regular communication and will be a central point of call for all communication channels and day to day communications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of operational channels and writing weekly communications. The communications Manager, will work cross functionally to source messages, to ensure that communications stay up to date and that we are communicating to our colleagues through the right channels. The role, will also provide support to the Head of Communications and Engagement on any projects to achieve our five year plan when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Head of Communications and Engagement to manage the communications strategy.
  • Management of communications channels.
  • Managing day to day Stakeholder Relationships.
  • Reacting to changes quickly and handling a number of different projects at one time.
  • Dealing with last minute changes.
  • Creating strong relationships across the business.
  • Deciding when and how operational businesses should be communicated.
  • Ensure that communications between the Support Centre and stores are effective.
  • To deliver timely, accurate and engaging communications to our colleagues.
  • Meet tight deadlines (each channel of communication has a set time of communications.

What We're Looking For

  • Educated to a degree level, ideally a degree in communications along with a good level of written and verbal english.
  • Essentially experience in communications, ideally within internal communications in a retail environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have a sound understanding of internal communication .
  • Knowledge of retail, and understands the importance of customer focus.
  • The ability to work well in a fast paced team and works well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and has the ability to build relationships.
  • Desire to learn and develop.
